I'm nearly always running a queue of 25-35 custom orders and I do each on a first-order-in-first-order-out basis. I believe that each of my clients deserves fair treatment, so I do not accept rush order fees or push any customer's locked-in pre-paid order back to accomodate last-minute shoppers who want custom items.

Ring opening pliers work opposite standard pliers where squeezing the handles closes the jaws so they grip something. With this tool gripping the handles opens the jaws on these pliers and that's how you get the ring to release enough tension to pull out the segment or the ball.

Any jewelry with some copper content can react with your body's ph levels and leave a harmless discoloration where the jewelry rests on your skin. This is even true of certain gold alloys, particularly rose gold as it gets it's pink hue from a high concentration of copper in the alloy.
